Hello all! I am back from vacation - I went to Knoxville for a few days to see my boyfriend and sort of took an everything-but-work vacation from the Wednesday I got back to the weekend. But now I am fully back and will be posting again for you. Vacation was lovely, but there aren't really very many pictures. I don't believe in taking lots of pictures of people sitting around, or going shopping, etc. I will have some pictures soon of some new things I've been working on and a few things I've bought! I can't wait to share with you!
Oh, and Andrew took me to the fair, so I do have a lovely from-the-ferris-wheel shot. We went on the ferris wheel, some super-high swings, and ate a funnel cake. We both agreed that Capri Sun needs to release a Capri Sun for adults though. They could call it the MEGA POUCH.

Subversive Jewelry is a one-man jewelry company. Justin Giunta is a genius with materials - turning even everyday shapes like traditional lockets and metal chains into liquid, movement-riddled pieces. I fell in love with his Rainforest II collection especially - pictured above is a particularly stunning Jeweled Locket Necklace, which retails on his website (you can even pay through Paypal!) for a mere $880. Pictured below are a few other lovely pieces that I adored. I would definitely find a way to wear any of these, especially with the plain-colored shift dresses I'm finding myself in love with this season.

I cannot express the exact emotions that I felt looking through these fantastically orchestrated interiors by designer Irina Graewe. I felt such a sense of awe - everything was perfectly arranged, the colors and textures are in the most balanced harmony, and each 'room' gives off a sense of time and attitude, as if the spaces are people themselves. While this is certainly more decorative and artistic than practical, interior-design wise, it makes for some spectacular inspiration and eye candy.
