Fiber Giveaway - Pocket Pocket

Hey everybody! Did you realize that I reached 100 posts a little while back? Since I was so busy at the time, I let it pass, and now I'm somewhere around 106 - but I did want to celebrate.

I will be giving away 4 oz. of heathery corriedale fiber in a one-of-a-kind colorway, "Little Violets". I've been seeing little purple flowers pop up all over the yard now that it's spring. The winner will receive the 4 oz. of fiber and a Pocket Pocket gift card good for $10. If you aren't a spinner, don't fret - there will be another non-spinning contest soon.
Just leave a comment telling me your favorite springtime activity! I will draw randomly for the winner on April 20th.

  2. Playing with the dogs outside in the gorgeous weather- or maybe knitting outside. Either way, it's enjoying the sunshine before it gets too hot! :D

  3. Springtime hiking to see waterfalls. I live in SoCal and many(most) of our waterfalls dry up by late spring/early summer.

  4. I love watching the crocuses outside my front door slowly poke their little green heads out of the ground... and then overnight its like they just burst into purples and yellows!

  5. Hmm, there really isn't a spring in Texas, but I would say it is Spring Cleaning. I like having a clean house:)

  9. Ooh, lovely fiber!

And my favorite springtime activity is going to pedernales falls state park. We go there all the time during spring/summer to climb and explore all the caves and swim in the FREEZING water. :)

Then it'd be to knit outside! where it's so pretty!

The fiber you dyed is just so so pretty - love the colors!

  15. I have a small, two-chair sort of wooden porch outside my front door. Our yard is filled with grass and wildflowers, and two huge oak trees. On a clear, sunny day (and there are plenty in Texas!) I like to set my wheel up on top of a pink towel and spin all day long. I'll make rose lemonade or iced green tea and snack on grapes until I can't possibly spin anymore, or it gets dark!

  16. Congrats on the 100th post!

My favorite thing about spring is the temperature! It's not too hot and not too cold...just wish there was also not pollen. LOL
